The Batchel by The Cambridge Satchel Company

15" Batchel in Red by The Cambridge Satchel Company (£90)

The Batchel is a variation of The Cambridge Satchel Company's original Satchel. It looks exactly like the Satchel but with a top handle. A welcome addition for me because it makes it easier to carry the bag when your shoulder needs a rest.

Dimensions: 15" across the top flap (slightly smaller inside), 10" height and 4" depth.

It comes in a variety of colors like red (above), yellow (below), green, purple, navy and of course the more traditional black, dark brown and vintage brown (below).

I personally love the red and yellow. :-)

And the other cool thing about these bags? You can get it personalized by embossing your name or initials on the flap for £5 to £20, depending on how many letters you want on there.

Check out The Cambridge Satchel Company website for more info. And yes, they deliver overseas. You have to email them for a quote but they're quick in responding.

Oh, and take a peek at their Traditional Trunks line. Gorgeous.

P.S. Many thanks to Julie of The Cambridge Satchel Co. for all her help.

FINSK Wedges

FINSK Wood Wedge Boot with Metal Zip - Style NR 252-98 in Light Grey and Pewter

FINSK Wood Wedge Boot with Metal Zip and Studs - Style NR 252-95 in Black & Mushroom

FINSK was launched in 2004 by London-based Finnish designer Julia Lundsten. Her wooden wedge is probably, by far the most popular design in her collection. Retails at £410.

I just love the cut out heel and the architectural look of it. Their site says they're sold in select stores in Singapore but I'm still trying to figure out where. :-)

It's Official: H&M to Open Singapore Store in 2011

Yes, it's confirmed. Singapore will be H&M's first store in South East Asia. The store is scheduled to open late next year, in the autumn of 2011. It will be located in Orchard Building and said to have a sales area of approximately 3,000 square metres.

While I am totally excited to have one of my favorite stores in the city, I will miss the excitement of going to H&M stores in other countries. I always looked forward to it.

Here's the official press release:

Jeffrey Campbell Wrecker Platform Boot

The Wrecker sports a similar shape as the Jeffrey Campbell Lita but attacked by a swarm of  with buckled straps -- lots of buckled straps. The brown version is very, very cool.

Many bloggers have said that the Lita platforms are surprisingly comfortable considering its height and bulky look. So I'm guessing it might be safe to assume that this version will be comfy as well. But let's see what proud owners of these shoes will say. Maybe you? You can get this now at Nasty Gal. Retails at $245.

On another note, I am loving the white tights on the model wearing the brown Wrecker.

Christmas with Starbucks' Red Cups

Okay, this post is not fashion-related but I just love it when Starbucks brings out their red cups for Christmas. I can't help but feel Christmas in the air the minute I see these red cups in stores. It also helps that Starbucks' Peppermint Mocha is my favorite drink there which they only offer during Christmas season.

Temptation at Zara Online

1. Drape Neck Dress in blue polka dot
2. Long Marl Dress with leather belt in grey

1. Boho Flower Dress in brown

All from Zara

Dropped by Zara earlier to pick up my Ash Grey Fine Knit Skirt and ended up trying on the blue polka dot Drape Neck Dress for fun. Much to my surprise it actually fit great and was very easy to slip on considering it didn't have any zippers or real buttons. Now debating whether or not to go back for it and while I was doing that, I came across these cute dresses and bags on their site. Oh, I will be on a lookout for that varsity bomber jacket. I want.

Zara wants me penniless. *sigh*

Calcagni and Sandidge Wedges by Aldo

Aldo Shoes has been churning out more cool shoes of late. But then maybe it's just me. My impression of Aldo Shoes has always been a place for when you need those black pumps-type office shoes or when you're looking for strappy formal shoes. Well, that's definitely not my impression now.

The Calcagni and Sandidge pictured above are two styles I've recently liked from Aldo. Simple black wedges with rubber soles -- what's not to love?

Acne Admire Leather Wedge Boot in Purple and Olive (US$679)

The oh so popular Admire Wedge by Acne Studios I previously blogged about here is now available in purple and olive. I personally still love it in the original black:

Which color do you love? Or would you want it in all colors? ;-)
Or maybe you're not loving it at all?

Cross Connector Ring - In Gold

This gorgeous piece of jewelry is from Seventh Door. I got their original Silver Cross Connector Ring a few months ago which I blogged about here and here. Now they've come out with a gold version!

It comes in solid yellow bronze and from my experience with the silver version, it's very durable and does not tarnish as promised. You can visit the Seventh Door website for more information (or to order) here. It retails at USD68.00 and comes in 4 sizes. And in case you're wondering, the silver version is still available. Now tell me, do I "need" the gold version as well?

Alberta Ferretti for Spring 2011 Ready To Wear

My favorite looks from Alberta Ferretti's Spring 2011 RTW collection. I love the flowy long dresses, the see-through, lace and crochet details, and the earthy colors. I even love the flats. They go really well with the dresses.

My favorite would have to be the right-most (5th) look on the first set. :-)
