Classic Large Flap Bag by Chanel

This is the original quilted chain-link handbag by Chanel. I personally prefer this over the Chanel 2.55 just because of the leather intertwined through the chain link. It's such a classic bag that I can see it as something you'd pass on down to your daughter. 

Unfortunately (or fortunately in some cases), it's so hideously expensive that unless I win the lottery, I'll just continue wishing for this bag. From what I've heard and read, this bag now costs around US$3,400. Would you buy a bag this expensive?
