Jeffrey Campbell Wrecker Platform Boot

The Wrecker sports a similar shape as the Jeffrey Campbell Lita but attacked by a swarm of  with buckled straps -- lots of buckled straps. The brown version is very, very cool.

Many bloggers have said that the Lita platforms are surprisingly comfortable considering its height and bulky look. So I'm guessing it might be safe to assume that this version will be comfy as well. But let's see what proud owners of these shoes will say. Maybe you? You can get this now at Nasty Gal. Retails at $245.

On another note, I am loving the white tights on the model wearing the brown Wrecker.

Recently found this blog called Pink Kitten.

Pink Kitten is Asami, a girl from Japan who admits to be addicted to Jeffrey Campbell shoes. You'll find a lot of photos of her JC shoes and other JC-lovers on her blog. Check out her shoe closet:

More Shoe Love: Wedges with a Twist

I'm recently drawn to wedges with interesting and unique styles to their wedge/platform design. The four above are just a few of the styles out there. The Jeffrey Campbell Meeker so far tops the list for me. Have you seen any other brands with unique designs?

Obesessing On Shoes

1. Ankle Wedge Booties on Lug Sole by Camilla Skovgaard in Cool Grey
2. Kole Oxford Wedges by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent in Redwood
3. Lang Suede Wedge Booties by Pour La Victoire in Grey Taupe
4. Tick Open Toe Booties by Jeffrey Campbell in Nude
5. Bandit Draped Suede Wedge Booties by Jeffrey Campbell in Black

Seriously obsessing on shoes. Lately all I've been posting are shoes, shoes and more shoes. I was on a search for some nude pumps or wedges when I got sidetracked by these gorgeous colors, particularly the oxford wedges in redwood.

Céline Velvet Sandal Clogs

Another "look for less" post, this time for one of the hottest styles that came out this Spring 2010: Céline's velvet sandal clogs.

And if you've got more than $50 to spare in your pocket, there are some other mid-priced alternatives you can check out for this style. Look at these versions by Joe's Jeans and Jeffrey Campbell:

Mr. Man and Lilly

Lusting over those Jeffrey Campbell and Joe's Jeans shoes? Sometimes you don't have to fork over a huge sum to get those styles. Thanks to some local online shops, you can get shoes of a similar design for a lot less. Check these out:

Virtual Mae is an online blog shop in the Philippines specializing in shoes while Painting Delia is an online blog shop in Singapore selling not only shoes but clothes, bags and accessories as well.

And of course, Jeffrey Campbell also has similar style to Joe's Jeans' Lilly Wedge Booties:

For another example, check my post about the Dolce &Gabbana Slingback Suede Wedge -- a local Singaporean online shop is currently accepting pre-orders for this style.

Shoe Addiction

Found this in my inbox earlier, new arrivals at Solestruck.com. Mostly Jeffrey Campbell's on the photo above. Aah, the temptation of online shopping.

Don't these look adorable?

Miracle Wedge by Jeffrey Campbell

When did these come out? Retails for US$135 at JildorShoes.com. Looks like the original Céline Spring 2010 Wooden Wedge:

I still prefer the Joe's Jeans Brenda Platform Sandals as I blogged before here.

Dany vs Foxy: Jessica Simpson and Jeffrey Campbell

The Dany shoe by Jessica Simpson is very popular among fashion bloggers and fashionistas on Lookbook. I've seen them on a lot pictures and photoshoots all over the world. According to the Jessica Simpson Collection website:
The Dany shoe from Jessica Simpson is truly a style statement. Heads will turn when you show off this alluring leather t-strap sandal, which stands on a soaring 5.8 inch wood heel.
It retails for US$98 and comes in both black and tan. I love how it looks but wonder if it's comfortable and easy to walk on with its "soaring" height. Anyone?

Oh, it comes in silver too. Found this on the Zappos site:

Jeffrey Campbell also came up with its own version called the Foxy:

Campbell shoes are usually the more affordable alternative to branded shoes but this time their Foxy shoe retails much more at US$145. Their version is made of genuine calfskin, manmade materials with a shoe height of 8" (heel height at 5.5" and platform height of 2"). It also comes in caramel color and leopard print.

I personally love the original Jessica Simpson Dany shoe better with its darker wood platform and the way it makes the leather look like it covers all the way to the sole. The Jeffrey Campbell Foxy in black has a more beige-colored wood while their caramel and leopard version uses a more brown-colored wood. It also has extra leather at the edges of the shoe while the Jessica Simpson version is totally cut out.

But the more I look at it, I'm beginning to like the Jeffrey Campbell Foxy in Caramel...

Dolce & Gabbana Slingback Suede Wedge Sandals

And to continue my search for the ultimate black wedge... the Dolce & Gabbana Slingback Suede Wedge Sandals.

110 mm wedge heel. Round peep toe. Wide platfrom. Cut-outs on sides of Wide suede straps. Elasticized slingback strap around back of ankle. Silver leather innersole and lining. Rubber sole.

Want. This. More.

And of course, the Jeffrey Campbell version:

And then there's the local version by an online Singaporean store, We Are Rubbish:

Jeffrey Campbell's Studded Wedge

I first saw this shoe being worn by one of the users of Lookbook.nu. It was so eye-catching and memorable that I still remember it even days after it was posted. I personally love it in grey.
