A gorgeous Pale Camel-colored stretch crepe-jersey dress with an asymmetric cutout back with a metallic-gold leather belt at waist. It also has a gold press-stud fastening at back of neck and draped overlay at front of waist.

I love the design and color of this dress. Simple yet elegant. Unfortunately, I cannot dare to spend £719.15 for a dress even if it's a Gucci.

Wish List for Bags - Gucci Boston Leather Bag

It's birthday month for me so I thought I'd do a "wish list" of some sort. Every year I always get something special -- a birthday gift for myself, if you will. It doesn't have to be expensive, it could just be a book I've always wanted or a dinner at that special restaurant.

But since this is just a "wish list", I'll go all out (because come on, I can't afford to buy all these!).  The first list will be dedicated to bags. Here's the first:

Boston Leather Bag by Gucci

I love the classic Gucci green & red stripe with a plain black leather backdrop. You can pair this with any outfit. Plus, the inclusion of the strap gives it an update from other similarly shaped bags.

Gucci Boston Bag

Whenever I happen to pass by a Louis Vuitton store, I always check out their iconic Speedy bags.

Always check out but never had the urge to purchase one (never mind the fact I can barely afford one!). Why? I don't really like Louis Vuitton's brown/beige/ebony/azur LV print and so-so on their boxy print.

That is until they came out with a new style (and in black!) -- the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Speedy:

The LV print is not so "loud" in this style.

Lately, I've found myself almost at the brink of buying one -- several times but still no. Because while I love the bag, I'm not really an LV girl. Would rather spend on Gucci. So, I've been surfing through Gucci.com and found their version of the Speedy bag.

The Gucci Boston Bag. 

They come in two styles (as far as I know, that is):

"Joy" medium Boston Bag with D ring detail which comes in 5 colors:

• Gunmetal crystal GG lamé fabric with black leather trim
• Silver GG coated fabric with silver leather trim
• Beige/ebony GG plus with dark brown leather trim
• Black Guccissima leather with black leather trim
• Chocolate Guccissima leather with chocolate leather trim

"Techno Tag" medium Boston Bag with luggage tag which comes in 3 colors:

• Black neoprene GG with black leather trim
• Beige/ebony GG fabric with brown leather trim
• Magenta neoprene GG wth magenta leather trim

I like the "Joy" medium Boston Bag in Guccissima leather. Time to save!

Gucci Medium Tote

It’s not the more expensive leather bags from Gucci but this metallic-like bag is pretty cool. I saw this in one of the Gucci shops along Orchard months ago and I’ve been thinking about it these past couple of days (birthday gift for myself? hmm…). Anyway, had a hard time finding it in the online site — it’s apparently classified under Travel & Business totes.

It’s color is called gunmetal crystal and made out of GG lamé fabric with black leather trim. Can’t remember exactly how much it costs but I think it was under SGD700 bucks. (edit: SGD670, all prices as of 28 Aug)

It also comes in 2 other colors: dark gold/ebony crystal also in GG lamé fabric with dark gold leather trim (picture below – SGD630) and sand GG fabric with pink leather trim (SGD600).

I’m leaning towards the gunmetal one… IF I can afford it! LOL
