I was supposed to meet a friend for a jog but we got rained in. Boo! Since I had no choice but to stay in, I decided to shoot some things around the house which ended up to be some of my favorite accessories.

I don't buy a lot of accessories but what I do have I absolutely love. The ones above I got from a shop in the Philippines called The Bead Shop -- leather bracelets with words engraved on metal plates and a turquoise bead bracelet with a money tree charm (whatever helps!). Opening this package was like playing with those Matryoshka dolls or Russian nesting doll -- you know the one, the doll in a doll in a doll in decreasing sizes? In this case, it was a box in a box in a box...

Inside the DHL box was the Net-A-Porter box -- isn't it lovely?

And then inside the Net-A-Porter box was the the Yves Saint Laurent box...

Which housed my lovely new YSL Arty Oval Ring in blue!

(The ring was in a pouch too but that didn't go with my box-in-a-box theme)

And that's what came in my mail today. :-)

I've been eyeing this ring for a while and it was difficult to find online -- unless you count those selling on eBay which some have marked up really high. Thankfully, I saw it on Net-A-Porter just in time. Perfect for my birthday month.

I'm currently in an accessories-craze-phase and so far I'm liking a lot of rings. Above are some rings that are not only gorgeous but affordable as well -- and totally tempting me right now.

What I'd really love to have are the Pamela Love Cross Ring, Pamela Love Double Cage Ring or an Arty Oval Ring by YSL in turquoise:

Not finding a lot of bracelets and necklaces I like though. Any suggestions? :-)
